NetDocuments Winter Award Showcase

We are only three months into 2019 and the NetDocuments team has wasted no time scooping up industry accolades for it’s award-winning products, emerging technologies and thought leadership in the knowledge management space.

So far in 2019, we have been recognized by KM World as part of the KMWorld 100, one of the 100 companies that matter in KM.

The National Law Journal has included NetDocuments in its inaugural ‘emerging technologies’ special report.

And, in February, TechnoLawyer included both ndMail and ndThread as part of its annual ‘TL Newswire 25 Products of 2019 Award’.

Let’s take a closer look:

TechnoLawyer 2019 Award

TechnoLawyer creator Neil Squillante refers to the TL Newswire Top 25 Products of 2019 Awards as the most meaningful awards in legal technology. “They capture the zeitgeist of the legal technology industry because they're crowdsourced by you and your fellow 10,000+ TL NewsWire subscribers,” explains Squillante.

NetDocuments was not rewarded once, but twice. The popular ndMail predictive email management technology garnered the 7th overall ranking for most popular legal tech product while newcomer ndThread and its collaborative chat capabilities took the 20th spot.

"The 2019 KMWorld 100 list spans a wide variety of companies that are each addressing the evolving demands of knowledge management,” said Tom Hogan, Group Publisher of KMWorld. “In selecting organizations to be included on the list, we consider insights gleaned from our own interactions with companies during interviews and events, how they have succeeded in helping customers solve business problems, and we review product updates to make sure that capabilities are advancing to address evolving requirements.”

NetDocuments is a proud member of the KMWorld 100 Class of 2019. KM Matters and NetDocuments matters in KM. See the full list here as well as a ‘View from the Top’ feature which provides more insights how NetDocuments is addressing challenges and opportunities in legal KM.

National Law Journal Award Logo

The inaugural issue of Emerging Legal Technologies is a special supplement developed by the business arm of The National Law Journal. Recognized are leading technology companies that are changing the ways that law firms and legal departments operate. They are helping to improve the efficiency of everyday tasks for attorneys and administrators.

Here’s an excerpt from NetDocuments’ innovative entry: “One of the big challenges for legal professionals is managing the volume of email and other communication that comes through on a daily basis. NetDocuments seeks to reduce the number of emails to improve overall management of communications. “A conversation that used to start with a message to five to six different people resulting in a chain reaction of email replies can create frustration. Messaging brings it down from dozens to none, because it’s contextualized inside the matter,” Mark Salamon explained.

The matter-based, threaded conversations and global and contextual document annotations allow for real-time discussions in a style that is already familiar to those who use texting or social media. “So it moves the pendulum back to that personal connection and interactivity that you don’t get with email.”

If these awards excite, buckle in for the rest of 2019 which will see more ‘firsts’ and ‘best of’s’. We will keep you posted.
