  • Streamlined Filing within Outlook using ndMail – ndMail, launched March 2018, makes it possible to manage the client electronic matter file exclusively in the NetDocuments cloud. Relying on machine learning insights from content in the electronic matter file for a client or project, users can file a message with a single click using intelligent filing predictions. ndMail also allows users to map Outlook folders to NetDocuments filing locations and work with NetDocuments content without leaving Outlook.
  • Topic-Based Conversations and Collaboration Functionality with ndThread – Customers can now use the social collaboration and matter-based messaging tool ndThread built within the NetDocuments cloud platform to interact with users worldwide. Launched in May 2018, ndThread, provides a more complete electronic matter file by incorporating threaded conversations and document-level messaging within NetDocuments’ existing matter-centric workspaces. In addition, it takes advantage of the platform’s robust security and search capabilities.
  • Workspace Tabs Introduced with NetDocuments 18.3 - Released earlier this month, the introduction of tabs within the workspace creates a “center of gravity” of content for users working together. These tabs bring together key information relating to the matter that go beyond documents. Customers can add web-based content such as financial data or physical records management information and conversations from ndThread. The tabs make it easy for team members to message each other inside a matter and provide a location for partners to share matter-related information directly associated with the workspace.
  • NetDocuments OCR Provides Customers with Advanced Document and Image Management – Now generally available, the technology is delivered as a secure cloud-to-cloud service powered by DocsCorp ContentCrawler technology. NetDocuments’ OCR automatically converts scanned and image files to text-searchable documents, augmenting the value and information found in the matter file and improving discoverability of that content.
