"Back from New Orleans after attending the annual Association of Legal Administrators (ALA) national meeting. Although the attendance was off by 35% from last year's we still received good attention at the NetDocuments booth. Because of the economic times the annual meeting was less of a "boondoggle", for those administrators who attended, and more of an educational trip than years past.

The prospective customers who watched our demonstrations and/or discussed our services with us were not only better informed about NetDocuments they understood the business model of SaaS. We found it very refreshing to not only talk about our rich feature function set, that match or surpass our legacy competitors, we also talked in detail about the SaaS business model. ALA members, being more business minded than the standard lawyer, seem to be more focused on the business positives and bottom line costs; needless to say we like that very much!

The keynote speaker for this year's event also talked about Cloud Computing and SaaS as a way to create a solid disaster recovery and business continuity plan with today's economic dilemma. It was refreshing to have our current customers bring to the booth their ALA friend's and introduce them to NetDocuments. We have a solid list of prospective customers around the country from this event thanks to several of our current customers recommending NetDocuments to their friends. It was also inspirational to see the city of New Orleans back on track and moving forward after the devastation caused by Katrina. The food was great, the history and sights were numerous and we walked away with several new friends for NetDocuments."
