Power of One Platform Drives 200% NetDocuments Growth in Europe

view of Europe lights from space at night

Last month, NetDocuments hosted a press briefing event in the United Kingdom to update the legal tech industry on the momentum we’ve achieved in extending the scope of our trusted cloud platform to businesses in the EMEA and APAC regions of the world.

Our success continues to be evident with the move of more than 2.4 firms a day to our platform including The Council of Europe, Saffery Champness, and Walker Morris who all signed on in the first quarter of 2019. To keep up with the growth, we have doubled the size of our team in the EMEA and APAC regions and have been working continuously to enhance our support operations and availability.

During the briefing event, Peter Buck, NetDocuments VP of Strategy, and Guy Phillips, NetDocuments VP of International Business, recognized the power of the platform as the region’s catalyst for growth and outlined key company initiatives and themes:

  • One Platform. Unlimited Possibilities: NetDocuments is an agile, true cloud solution designed to address the technology priorities of today while establishing the framework to prepare organisations for the technology needs of the future. With NetDocuments, the CIO vision of a future-proof, comprehensive technology stack can be realised. Organisations have the ability to extend the platform beyond its content management capabilities by tapping into our rich application store, network of more than 100 technology partners, and AI Marketplace.

  • Going “Glocal”: Organisations with international operations can leverage NetDocuments as their center of gravity for governance and security measures at the local and global level – aka “glocal.” We currently operate internationally in three separate Service regions located in the US, UK, and AU. Each service region is independent of each other and no customer data is shared between regions.

  • Less Email. Better Managed: Business communication practices are evolving daily. New generations use text messages, direct messaging or other social tools not traditionally governed by corporate and client communication policies.  ndThread, our direct messaging and threaded communication product, addresses new communication methods. It supports direct messaging, centralises conversations by project or client and automatically applies security and information governance to all transfers of information.

  • Next-Generation Solutions: Set for release in the second quarter of this year, NetDocuments will unveil a list and document outliner tool that will allow businesses to more quickly and efficiently organise large groups of content. Based on the technology initially developed by law firm Chapman and Cutler, this tool will streamline the creation of legal closing bibles, knowledge management outlines, employee onboarding processes and many other use cases. Additional product priorities announced during the briefing were a new workspace task management tool and an improved system for sharing documents with external parties. More information about the release of these solutions are forthcoming.

As we settle into our twentieth year as a service, our commitment to progress will not slow. We will continue to build off the momentum and broaden the capabilities and offerings to address the unique needs of organizations across the globe.
